•Develop and maintain University branding design components such as logos, web templates, presentations, and stationery templates in multiple languages preferably English and Arabic. •Develop and maintain internal and external website templates in the enterprise content management system for main university website and other websites under the university domain. •Maintain the content of the enterprise image repository. •Web Accessibility and Usability standards •Design and implement user interface websites for desktops and mobile devices. •Create and design images, graphics, flash, logos and clipart as required. •Work closely with the web services team members to design and implement effective web-based interfaces with a focus on usability, accessibility, and maintainability. •Coordinate closely with the university web content owners to understand the existing and future web design needs and develop web templates accordingly. •Train end users on using different web authoring and publishing tools as required. •Help establish university web design and publishing policies and standards. Evaluate business requirements then design, implement and configure SharePoint web parts per customer needs •Other duties as assigned.

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology preferably in Design or Media. •Minimum seven years of relevant experience in an enterprise environment.

•Strong knowledge of W3C standards. •Extensive experience with HTML , SHTML, XML and CSS. •Skill in researching and using new web site development/design software Creativity and imagination. •Proven experience with Photoshop, Illustrator/Freehand, etc. •Good understanding of typography, photography, and illustration. •Experience with JSP and JavaScript is a plus. •Knowledgeable about web-related emerging technology and development •Knowledge of SharePoint content tools. •Experience defining interface and navigation schemes. •Experience building mobile/tablet/desktop web UIs using a responsive web design approach •Experience in social media design •Experience with multimedia tools such as Flash and/or Maya.
