A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Maria J. Fernandez-Cabezudo, Department of Biochemistry, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The successful candidate will be engaged in a project investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the cholinergic regulation at the mucosal interphase. The position is supported by a 2-year grant from the UAE University Program for Advanced Research (UPAR). The position is for an enthusiastic young scientist interested in neuroimmunology. The successful candidate should have a PhD in a biomedical discipline with extensive knowledge and research experience in more than one of the following research areas: molecular /cell biology, immunology, histology or immunohistochemistry. Primary responsibilities include the design and performance of experiments using in vitro and in vivo cancer models. Prior experience in animal handling, cell culture, flow cytometry and molecular biology is essential.
