The applicant should contribute in propagation of plants through tissue culture as well as Biotechnology and Molecular work. General task - Introduce the plants genes using bacteria or gene gun. - Extract the DNA from the plants to make sure the present of gene of interest. - Extract the RNA from plants to examine the genetic activity of plants. - Preparation of the molecular biology reagents, assisting to perform molecular biology experiments, and media for the propagation of transgenic plants. - Subculture of plants to appropriate media and maintenance of the plants in vitro. - Hardening of the plants to greenhouse, molecular screening of transformed plants and their evaluation - Preparation of laboratory notes, and keeping of accurate daily records. - Preparation of the media for each plants. - Subculture the plants to appropriate media. - Planning and deciding the efficiency of the plant to transfer it to the soil.

Bachelor degree in biology or plant science

Master Degree or work experience in biology or plant science
