The department of Civil and Environmental Engineering the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of asphaltic or bituminous materials. The research assistant should be knowledgeable or at least have an interest in acquiring knowledge of asphaltic materials. The research assistant will spend significant time in the lab conducting asphalt tests, design of asphalt mixes, and testing of the mixes.

• Baccalaureate degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering • Good performance in materials and transportation engineering courses

• Good GPA • Has applied or is planning to apply to join UAEU for MS or PhD • Experience in pavement labs, highway construction sites, or asphalt mix plants • Integrity
