Research Associate - Postdoctoral- Grant
One postdoctoral researcher position is available at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The focus of research in the laboratory is in the area of Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy with special interest in the role and function of immunosuppressive cells (T regulatory cells and myeloid-derived suppressor cells) in cancer. These immunosuppressive cells are implicated in the immunopathology of cancer and their specific targeting may improve the efficacy of immunotherapeutic modalities. Salary is tax-free and around 11,000 UAE Dirhams per month.
The applicant should have a PhD in Immunology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Postdoctoral experience and publication in international peer-reviewed journals are desirable.

This position is for enthusiastic, ambitious, and hard-working postdoctoral researcher to work on the various aspects of the projects. They require a strong background in Cellular and Molecular Immunology. Significant experience and technical skills in flow cytometry, cell sorting, Molecular Biology techniques, immunohistochemistry/ immunofluorescence, tissue culture and cell isolation are essential. Candidate will plan, perform and manage research projects independently, and as part of a team, and disseminate results via peer-reviewed journals.
