Business Incubator Specialist

Job Description

 Develop programs for the business incubator targeting students and faculty.  Assign experienced mentors to each startup to provide guidance, support, and feedback throughout their incubation journey.  Provide access to technical experts and resources to help the startups overcome technical challenges and refine their products.  Develop partnership and collaboration agreements that provide value to the startups, the university, and the partners.  Provide resources and support to startups to help them establish and maintain collaborations.  Evaluate partnerships and collaborations regularly to ensure they are mutually beneficial and make adjustments as needed.  Develop a collaboration strategy and plan.  Establish communication channels with potential partners and collaborators.  Negotiate partnerships and collaboration agreements.  Promote the benefits of partnerships and collaborations to startups and other stakeholders.  Organize regular training sessions and workshops to help the startups develop their business skills and strategies.  Monitor the startups' progress and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.  Developing agreements to support the business incubator by providing a framework approved by the university legal department.  Attend meetings between the SIP CEO and potential partners.  Write records of meetings.  Any other duties assignment by immediate supervisor

Minimum Qualification

 Bachelor’s or master’s degree in entrepreneurship (master’s degree in entrepreneurship preferred)

Preferred Qualification

 2-5 years in entrepreneurship  Advanced writing skills and the ability to conduct internal and external correspondence.  Reporting skill and generalizations.  Knowledge of transaction and administrative fundamentals and policies.  Quantitative and qualitative analysis capacity.  Ability to use design programs.

 Good communication skills − Ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients, students and faculty  Ability to effectively present information both orally and in written form  Excellent writing skills in English;  Strong sales and negotiation skills  Engaging and deep understanding of customer’s needs  Provides high quality customer service orientation  Experience in reaching agreement with potential industry partners  Willing to travel domestically
