We are extending an invitation to a motivated and accomplished Postdoctoral Fellow to join our interdisciplinary research team, specializing in Energy Economics and Finance, with a specific emphasis on Renewable Energy. The successful candidate will assume a pivotal role within a funded project in the department of Economics and Finance, College of Business and Economics, the United Arab Univeristy. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct rigorous research in the domains of Economics and Finance as they pertain to Renewable Energy. • Collaborate closely with the research team to formulate and execute empirical studies, employing quantitative research methodologies. • Analyze diverse data sets encompassing economic, financial, environmental, and other aspects of renewable energy. • Publish research findings in premier academic journals. • Participate actively in project meetings, discussions, and collaborations with fellow researchers, contributing to a collaborative and stimulating research environment. Minimum Qualification

• Hold a Ph.D. in Economics/Finance of Energy or a closely related field from an accredited university. • Possess a robust track record of exceptional research accomplishments, substantiated by a strong history of publications in top-tier journals. • Demonstrate excellent proficiency in quantitative research methodologies and data analysis. Exhibit high levels of competence in relevant software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, STATA, etc.), and showcase familiarity with pertinent databases (e.g., Bloomberg, CRSP, Compustat). • Display knowledge of renewable energy technologies, energy markets, and policy frameworks, which is highly advantageous. • Exhibit superb written communication skills. • Showcase the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team of researchers. • Demonstrate strong organizational aptitude, along with the capability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
