A Senior Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Basel al-Ramadi, Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The successful candidate will work on a project investigating the molecular and immunological mechanisms underlying cancer metastasis and resistance to immunotherapy. Job Requirement: The position is for an enthusiastic young scientist interested in cancer immunology. The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge and first hand research experience in at least 3 of the following areas: flowcytometry and ELISpot assays, cellular immunology assays, cell culture, preclinical cancer models, processing and biobanking of human biological samples. Primary responsibilities include the design and performance of experiments related to funded projects. Additional duties include preparing and maintaining detailed records, logs and summary reports of all experimental findings, conducting literature searches, analyzing data using appropriate software, and performing other job-related duties, as required.
