Abu Dhabi University and UAE University’s Joint Research Program seeks a highly qualified and self-motivated research associate/postdoc candidate for 2 years to work on an innovative project of developing graphene-filled functional materials with long interfaces. The potential candidate must have experience in electrospinning of polymers (preferably at masters’ research thesis or at the PhD level) with relevant publications in peer reviewed journals. The candidate, who should take initiative and be self-reliant, will conduct relevant experiments and analyze the data. A periodic presentation of obtained results and future plan is required in every 3 months to steer the progress of the project. In addition, the candidate will interact with PhD/MSc students through their relevant work.

The candidate should have a PhD degree with (either masters’ or PhD) thesis focused on electrospinning of polymers preferably. Additional knowledge of polymers’ characterization and hands-on experience with polymeric materials will be advantageous.
