Job Description

• Support in implementing and adhering to policies and procedures for Accounts Payables across UAEU. • Keep accurate records of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements for future reference, etc. • Control and audit all financial transactions and ensure their compliance with approved systems, policies and procedures. • Auditing accounting entries. • Work to transfer knowledge of accounting practices among department members and direct units to accounting procedures and practices to ensure they are followed and adhered to. • Ensuring that financial transactions comply with the state’s special instructions regarding value-added tax. • Work to follow up the balances on a monthly basis, ensure that they are free of any abnormal balances, and direct them to correct them. • Follow up on the monthly closing of advances and trust balances. • Preparing the necessary reports for the department, including, but not limited to, the accounts payable reconstruction report. • Carrying out any other work related to the nature of the work assigned by the direct unit head. • Providing proposals that appear through transactions to amend policies and procedures in accordance with the interest of the business

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting or a related field

Preferred Qualification

Master’s in accounting, MBA, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certification of Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) (Preferred).
