The United Arab Emirates University invites applications for an instructor in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). We seek an instructor who uses GIS, remote sensing, geospatial analysis and modeling. Qualified candidates at Master or PhD level will be considered at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Applicants must have earned a master’s degree or preferably a PhD’s degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from a top-ranking university. The ability to teach GIS Labs at graduate and undergraduate courses is a must. Industrial and professional experience is a plus.

Previous experience in teaching Labs in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Strong Knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS software such as ArcPro, ERDAS, ENVI, Data Base Management System (DBMS) such as Oracle/MS SQL. Programming skills with Python and Java.
