The College of Information Technology – Information Systems and Security Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join our team focused on conducting Data Security Research for Secure Storage, Retrieval and Sharing in Cloud. • Full time commitment for 20-22 months. • Assume primary responsibility for the development of his or her research and career. • Perform the research required by the faculty supervisor to a high standard and in accordance with all institutional and federal regulations. • Publish research work in Q1 peer review journals. • Paper presentation in reputable international conferences. The candidate should have a good experience in research works on the field of Cloud Data Security. The candidate should have published research conference/journal papers in that field. It will be highly valued for the position to have an experience in cloud computing, information security and blockchain. The successful candidate will participate intensively in research works that aim at solving issues of data storage and data sharing in the cloud such as (i) Identifying the issues and proposing methodology to ensure data confidentiality for cloud; (ii) Identifying the issues and proposing methodology to authorize multi-user access and preserve privacy through effective access control mechanisms; (iii) Identifying the issues and proposing methodology to ensure data integrity using blockchain-based data auditing schemes; and (iv) Identifying the issues and proposing methodology to ensure data availability by verifying data integrity across all the replicas using blockchain-based replica auditing schemes. Responsibilities: (a) Design and develop integrated cloud data security solutions using state-of-the-art techniques and tools. (b) Conduct experiments to validate the performance and functionality of the developed systems in realistic scenarios. (c) Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences. (d) Collaborate with other team members and industry partners to develop and implement new cloud data security based applications. The position effective date is 21st of August, 2024 or when the position will be filled. The salary will be determined and readjusted based on candidate’s skills evaluation and achievements.

PhD in Computer Science or related fields (graduated within the last 1-4 years) a) Proven knowledge and experience in cloud computing and information security domains. b) Deep understanding of Information Security concepts. c) Expertise in Blockchain and Cloud Computing. d) Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Java. e) Excellent written and oral communication skills.

PhD in Cloud Data Security, Information Security, Blockchain, Computer Science or related fields (graduated within the last 2-4 years) WITH Top Quality Journal Publications & Work experience in Cloud Data Security using Blockchain based Project.
