The Department of Information Systems and Security, College of Information Technology (CIT), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites highly qualified individuals to apply for a position of instructor in the field of Information Security. CIT is seeking candidates who can contribute to developing and maintaining high-quality cybersecurity labs and related areas to support offered undergraduate programs. Candidates must hold a Master of Science Degree in Information Security or any closely related areas. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in Cybersecurity, some knowledge of applied AI and Machine learning, and prior undergraduate teaching experience. Competencies include Digital Forensics tools and applications, Knowledge of Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) such as Blockchains and DLT platforms such as Hyperledger and Ethereum, Applied System and Network Security using various hardware and software technologies, and Applied Cryptographic tools. CIT has undergraduate programs in information technology, computer science, information security, and computer engineering and is home to several graduate programs including an MSc in Information Security, an MSc in IoT, an MSc in Software Engineering, and a PhD in Informatics and Computing. Minimum Qualification

Master of Information Security or a closely related field. Strong record of technical skills and ability to teach undergraduate courses and labs.

Preferred Qualification

Demonstrated solid record of technical abilities in the areas of Cyber-Physical Systems Security and Hardware Security and Artificial Intelligence.

Expected Skills

Strong background in Cybersecurity, some knowledge of applied AI and Machine learning, and prior undergraduate teaching experience.
