The Department of Information Systems and Security, College of Information Technology (CIT), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites highly qualified individuals to apply for a faculty position at the rank of an Assistant Professor in the field of in Information Security with an emphasis on Post Quantum Cryptography and Distributed Ledger Technologies such as Blockchains and Directed acyclic graph (DAG). CIT seeks candidates who can contribute to its growing undergraduate and graduate programs in Information Security and related areas, through excellence in teaching and research. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Information Security or a closely related field. They must demonstrate research capabilities to develop and sustain an internally and externally funded research program in the areas of Post Quantum Cryptography, Distributed Ledger Technologies, and other related areas and must have an excellent record of published research findings in Q1 journals and highly reputable conferences. Interdisciplinary research in areas where Information Security can be applied is considered a plus. Innovative teaching skills with experience in blended learning and other interactive teaching methodologies are highly desired. CIT has undergraduate programs in information technology, computer science, information security, and computer engineering and is home to several graduate programs including an MSc in Information Security, an MSc in IoT, an MSc in Software Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Informatics and Computing. Minimum Qualification

Ph.D. in Information Security or a closely related field. Strong record of research output and the ability to teach undergraduate/graduate courses.

Preferred Qualification

Demonstrated solid record of research accomplishments in the areas of Post Quantum Cryptography and Distributed Ledger Technologies and experience in securing patents.

Expected Skills
