The Department of Information Systems and Security (ISS) at the College of Information Technology (CIT), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking highly qualified individuals to apply for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Information Security with a focus on Digital Forensics. CIT is looking for candidates who can contribute to its expanding undergraduate and graduate programs in Information Security and related areas through outstanding teaching and research. As an Assistant Professor, you will have the opportunity to teach, conduct research, and collaborate with industry partners to advance knowledge and practice in Digital Forensics. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Information Security, Computer Science, or a closely related field. They must have a strong record of published research findings in top-tier journals and highly reputable conferences. Additionally, they should demonstrate research capabilities to develop and maintain research grants in Digital Forensics and related areas. Conducting interdisciplinary research in areas or domains where Information Security and Digital Forensics can be applied is considered a plus. Innovative teaching skills, along with experience in blended learning and other interactive teaching methodologies, are highly desired. CIT offers undergraduate programs in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering. Additionally, it hosts several graduate programs, including an M.Sc. in Information Security, an M.Sc. in IT Management, an M.Sc. in Internet of Things, an M.Sc. in Software Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Informatics and Computing. Minimum Qualification

— Ph.D. in Information Security, Computer Science, or a closely related field. — Solid record of research output in Information Security and Digital Forensics. — Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to digital forensics.

Preferred Qualification

— Strong programming skills and proficiency in relevant forensic analysis software. — Demonstrated expertise in digital forensics methodologies, tools, and techniques. — Experience in teaching information security, digital forensics, or related courses. — Demonstrated record of securing research grants and approved patents.
