Research Assistant
There is a position available for a 4-year PhD programme to conduct research on the significance of complement regulators in SARS-CoV-2 infection. The project will involve use of a range of techniques including protein expression and purification, generation of pseudotyped particles, cell culture, in vivo animal models of infection and therapeutic assessment, and placental immunology. The successful candidate is expected to start their PhD from August/September 2024 and should qualify for the admission criteria of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAEU. The successful candidate can start the position immediately as a Research Assistant until their transition to becoming a PhD scholar in the fall 2024.
