A six-month research assistant position is available in the Physics Department at Arab Emirates University. The applicant must fabricate different nanostructured materials for different applications, including energy storage. Various characterization techniques will be employed to characterize the synthesized nanostructures, mainly Raman, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrical characterization, etc.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in physics or materials science and engineering. In addition, the candidate must be skilled in physics and material/electrical engineering lab work and show a solid commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace.
