In order to operate the NSSTC satellite constellation, universal ground stations will need to be developed. This position is critical to the team, it will be responsible for the ownership and development of the ground systems which in turn will be the center of communications for the satellite network. This role will bring the hardware and software to support the operation of the satellite constellation network. General task - Maintain NSSTC’s satellite ground communication Hardware/Software - Develop integration and test plans for various parts of the satellite ground systems - Follow all hardware through conception/design, procurement/production, integration/ installation, validation, and maintenance - Create, organize, and maintain documentation for all aspects of the ground station design - Conduct design reviews and work with relevant subject matter experts (RF, networking, software, etc.) to meet all requirements - Provide budgetary forecasts for various aspects of the project

- Bachelors of Science/Engineering degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or communication engineering

- Bachelors of Science/Engineering degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or communication engineering

- Fresh graduate - Knowledge of the Linux system - IP networking concepts - Ability to travel - Field support and project leadership - Creative approach to problem-solving and exceptional analytical skills - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment that includes working with changing needs and requirements - Excellent communication skills - Integration and test of hardware systems - Understanding of designing and building RF communication systems
