Full-time Nutrition Research Assistant (Interviewer) in Al Dhafra
The dietitian interviewers are responsible for conducting 24-hour food recalls from members of Emirati households and non-Emirati households (adults, children, and adolescents). · Administer questionnaires and measure the height and weight of 2 members of the household. · Have UAE experience or previous research work experience. · Graduates of the Department of Nutrition and Health, United Arab Emirates University with a nutrition/dietetics background who are not currently working or not working in the field of nutrition are welcome to participate in this project to gain practical experience.
Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition or closely related field along with. · Bachelor of Health Science closely related field along with. · Experience conducting nutrition research fieldwork in the UAE. · United Arab Emirates University with a nutrition/dietetics background who are not currently working or not working in the field of nutrition are welcome to participate in this project to gain practical experience. · Native in Arabic and Fluent in English · Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Interviewers with previous research experience. We are looking for people who will be committed to working on the project. · Have a car. · Each applicant must conduct data collection for 50 households monthly.

Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport with participants is crucial for obtaining candid and meaningful responses. Interviewers should be personable, approachable, and able to establish trust. 5. Time Management: Efficiently managing interview schedules and ensuring that interviews are conducted within the allotted time frame is essential. 6. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle unexpected situations or challenges that may arise during interviews, such as participant discomfort or technical issues.
