Play an integral role in conducting a nutrition survey by supporting participant recruitment, data collection, and management of dietary intake records · Review and verify collected dietary intake data to ensure accuracy, working effectively with the interviewers · Prepare project reports and summaries and effectively contribute to the research output and publications · Conduct detailed research tasks, perform statistical analysis, and significantly contribute to the interpretation and communication of project findings · Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring smooth operation of the research project · Perform other duties as assigned · Report directly to the Principal Investigator of the study

Master of Science in Human Nutrition · Minimum of two years of experience in community-based nutrition research in the UAE and knowledge of local food consumption · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail · Experience conducting nutrition research fieldwork (preferred in the UAE) · Excellent verbal and written skills in English · Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Bi-lingual (fluency in Arabic and English) · A high level of conceptual and strategic thinking to manage effectively the project and the field staff · Working knowledge of software packages to create and generate spreadsheets and reports

Experience in the use of nutrient analysis software · Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages to produce high-quality spreadsheets and presentations · Proven experience managing field nutrition research projects · Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the project interviewers working in the different regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, and Al Dhafra)
