Monitoring/driving the technical progress of the S-813 Satellite procurement on its mechanical and thermal aspects, from selection of the S-813 Spacecraft Supplier through the design and development phase up to the launch, in-orbit commissioning and in-orbit operations of the Spacecraft. المهام والواجبات التفصيليةTasks and Responsibilities • This job description includes but is not limited to the following key Responsibilities:  Monitor/drive the technical progress of the S-813 Spacecraft procurement on its mechanical and thermal aspects through all project phases (selection of Spacecraft Supplier, design phase, development phase, launch phase, in-orbit commissioning, in-orbit operations)  Provide technical support to S-813 Spacecraft Lead in all Spacecraft mechanical and thermal aspects and in managing the technical relationship with S-813 Spacecraft Supplier  Ensure technical coordination with S-813 AIT Engineer and S-813 Spacecraft Supplier on the specification, preparation and implementation of the Spacecraft mechanical and thermal tests to be run within NSSTC AIT facilities  Specific responsibilities during S-813 program development (from Supplier selection to in-orbit commissioning): - Review all mechanical and thermal aspects of Supplier deliverable documentation related to S-813 Spacecraft, Launcher interface and Launch operations - Contribute to the preparation and washing-up of Review Items Discrepancies and Action Items related to Spacecraft, and to the follow-up of related minutes of meetings. - Attend any dedicated meetings in relation with mechanical and thermal aspects of Spacecraft design, development and performance - Follow-up all Spacecraft mechanical and thermal tests and review related tests reports - Follow-up launch campaign, launch operations, LEOP phase and in-orbit commissioning phase for all mechanical and thermal aspects Provide technical support on a need basis to NSSTC Ops/Ground Segment team during the S- 813 System in-orbit operations after the system in-orbit Acceptance and the transition from Supplier-lead operations to NSSTC-lead operations•

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant

Preferred Qualification

• Demonstrated experience with CAD tools • Familiarity with designing and packaging electro-mechanical systems for the space environment • Cleanroom experience Technical skills in spacecraft mechanical/thermal design and development, manufacturing, tests and operations.  Ability to interact with internal and external resources  Ability to issue technical recommendations to support Spacecraft Lead
