Electricity Technician

Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electrical distribution systems, electric controls Carry out the allocated preventive and corrective/reactive maintenance. Troubleshoots repairs and maintains electrical distribution systems and electric controls. Ensures emergency electrical systems are operational as per the site requirements. Installs troubleshoots, and repairs equipment and systems, including all lights and programmable lighting controls. Coordinates with coworkers and immediate In-charge of the organizing and completion of electrical-related tasks. Coordinates with superiors to complete work progress efficiently. Respond to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concerns. Maintain appropriate service and repair records. Respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service. Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure the protection of assets, like furniture, computers, other electronic equipment and flooring, etc. if require. Knowledge to request the required electrical material and associated tools and accessories to execute the job. Basic knowledge to erect scaffolding, movable and immovable staging to get access to difficult areas; move furniture and equipment as necessary. Barricade/isolate the areas during the work execution as per the site requirement. Need to make neat, tidy the area after completion of the job, and remove unwanted/remaining items from the work-executed place as per the instruction of the immediate In-charge and store them in the designated area as directed by the immediate superior. Clean up all equipment, including tools and works area.
High School or above
Trade Certificate in relevant field
5 years and above experience in a similar field and Gulf Experience at least a minimum of 3 years.
