The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on a research project entitled “Factors affecting the removal of pharmaceutically active compounds from wastewater using ozone micro-nanobubbles”. The project is a collaboration between the UAEU and Tsinghua University. Applicants need a good understanding of organic chemistry and micro-nanobubbles, with previous record of publications in related fields.

• PhD in civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or chemistry. • Excellent command of English.

• Previous publications related to pharmaceutically active compounds, sorption of organic compounds, micro-nanobubbles, or other related fields. • Demonstrable willingness to support work in the lab. • Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands.
