Job Description

Conduct a comprehensive literature review on legal frameworks, ethical theories, and organ donation policies globally and in the UAE. Analyze the legal and ethical considerations surrounding organ donation, including consent models, property rights, and human dignity. Develop a legal and ethical framework for justifying a compulsory consent process. Examine UAE laws and regulations related to organ donation and transplantation, identifying gaps, and proposing reforms. Evaluate existing organ donation laws and policies in the UAE and compare them with international models. Identify legal and ethical challenges in implementing a compulsory consent process and propose solutions. Engage with stakeholders (e.g., legal experts, policymakers, healthcare professionals) to gather insights and feedback. Prepare high-quality research papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals in law, ethics, and public policy. Present findings at national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Minimum Qualification

Ph.D. in Law, Health Law, Economic Law, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for publishing and presenting research.

Preferred Qualification

Previous publications related to Organ Transplant, Health law, and Economic Law, or other related fields. Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands. Experience working on organ donation or transplantation-related legal or ethical projects. Prior experience in policy analysis or engagement with policymakers.
