Position Overview The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking a highly qualified Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Center for Health Sciences as part of the newly established UAEU Postdoctoral Hub. This initiative is designed to foster innovation, interdisciplinary research, and capacity building in line with UAEU’s strategic vision to address national and global challenges, particularly those related to sustainability, digital transformation, and public health. Key Responsibilities • Conduct innovative, interdisciplinary research in one or more of the focus areas. • Publish research findings in high-impact, Scopus-indexed journals. • Collaborate with UAEU faculty, students, and external stakeholders on joint projects. • Develop and support research grant applications and international partnerships. • Mentor UAEU Ph.D. students and contribute to local research capacity building. • Translate research into solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ph.D. obtained within the last 5 years from a recognized university.

Experience: • Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications, with first or corresponding author contributions. • Demonstrated research expertise in health sciences, epidemiology, precision health, AI, or related disciplines. • Prior experience in interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects is highly desirable. Skills: • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. • Strong project management and mentorship capabilities. • Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, STATA or R for data analysis.
