Assistant/Associate Professor Poultry Adaptation Physiology
The Department of Integrative Agriculture at UAEU invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor position in Poultry Adaptation Physiology. The successful candidate should have a strong record in teaching and research, focusing on adaptation mechanisms to environmental stressors. They need experience supervising undergraduate and graduate research related to poultry adaptation and production systems. The appointee will contribute to teaching, research, and community service, aligning with the University’s mission. Teaching duties include lectures, practical sessions in poultry physiology, and developing hands-on learning approaches. The candidate should collaborate with faculty and students, contribute to curriculum development, and pursue interdisciplinary research to improve poultry resilience and productivity in regional conditions.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Poultry Physiology, Animal Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized international university and should have postdoctoral research experience in poultry adaptation physiology or related areas.
Commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching (in English) and in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Demonstrated dedication to promoting diversity and a proven ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary research and teaching within the field of animal and poultry sciences. Established record of scholarly publications in reputable journals related to poultry physiology, adaptation, or animal production. Teaching experience in areas relevant to poultry physiology and environmental adaptation. Proven ability to secure internal and external research funding through competitive grants.
