Job Description

The Career Development and Branding Specialist is responsible for guiding business students toward successful career outcomes while enhancing the CBE’s visibility and reputation in the UAE corporate sector. This role combines career advising, internship and employment coordination, employer engagement, and strategic marketing to ensure students are career-ready and the CBE’s programs remain attractive to industry partners. 1. Career Advising and Employment Coordination - Provide individual and group career guidance on academic pathways, employability skills, and industry trends. - Support students in job search strategies, resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation. - Build relationships with local, regional, and international employers to secure internships and full-time opportunities. - Match students with suitable placements and manage internship programs in line with institutional standards. - Maintain student career records and track outcomes for continuous improvement. 2. Branding and Corporate Engagement - Act as the primary contact with companies, building and maintaining relationships while leading marketing initiatives, such as information sessions to enhance the visibility and reputation of the College of Business programs among corporate stakeholders. - Organize networking events and employer sessions to showcase student and alumni talent. - Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and social media content highlighting program strengths and success stories. - Represent the university at exhibitions, conferences, and industry forums to expand corporate partnerships and outreach. 3. Collaboration and Reporting - Work with academic departments, alumni, and external relations teams to align career services with institutional goals. - Provide reports on employer engagement, student employability, and marketing activities. - Support initiatives to strengthen graduate employability and industry networks.

Minimum Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in Career Guidance, Academic Counseling, Career Development or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution.

Preferred Qualification

Master’s degree in business, Education, Marketing, or a related field.

Expected Skills

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in career advising, employer engagement, or higher education marketing.
