Job Description

Project Title: AI Guardians: Understanding the Efficacy of Large Language Models in Flagging Child Maltreatment Responsibilities: • Assist in literature reviews focusing on child maltreatment, ethical implications of AI, and related psychological theories. • Assist in methods and results sections o Conduct qualitative data collection, including semi-structured expert interviews o Engage in thematic analysis of qualitative data o Analyze quantitative data • Assist in drafting scholarly articles.

Minimum Qualification

• PhD or Master’s in Psychology or Clinical Psychology

Expected Skills

• Prior research experience in mental health, clinical trials, or child welfare • Experience working in interdisciplinary collaboration across AI and psychology • Proficient in psychological assessments • Proficiency in quantitative data analysis using SPSS, or R • Proficiency in qualitative research methods including thematic analysis and coding with NVivo (or similar software) • Experience with digital mental health tools • Publication records or previous contributions to academic manuscripts • Fluent in English; excellent written and oral communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
