Research Associate position is available in the laboratory at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to investigate the interaction Parkin with α-synuclein in Parkinson’s disease model. This position is supported by a UAE University Research grant.

The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in Biological Science (minimum: Master’s degree).

It is expected that the person is highly motivated, hardworking and can work independently. Good understanding of handling mouse and celllines, experience with basic microscopy, staining techniques (immunohistochemistry), basic biochemistry and molecular biology skills (e.g. Protein purification technique, Western blotting, cloning, PCR) are required.
