Research Assistant

Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to join the Marketing & Entrepreneurship Department within the College of Business and Economics at UAEU as a full‑time Research Assistant. Working under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the successful candidate will support research projects aligned with the strategic priorities of the College and the University. The role involves contributing to high‑impact studies with meaningful theoretical and managerial implications. Key areas of focus include consumer behavior and decision‑making, circular economy practices, entrepreneurial marketing, and technological solutions to sustainability‑related challenges. Minimum Qualification

Master’s degree in Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, or a closely related discipline.

Preferred Qualification

A developing research profile, including participation in research projects or a pipeline of work in a related business discipline. Experience conducting research in food or fashion is a plus. Strong interest in academic research and a demonstrated willingness to learn. Preference will be given to those with experience in statistical analysis, qualitative coding, or mixed‑methods research in completed research projects.

Expected Skills

Experience in data collection, including conducting literature reviews, administering interviews, surveys, etc. Working skills in using analysis tools such as SPSS, R, SEM/AMOS, NVivo, advanced Excel, are an advantage. Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken). Spoken Arabic language is a plus but not mandatory. Motivation and ability to work collaboratively, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
