A postdoctoral fellow position for one and a half years is available at the Physics Department, United Arab Emirates University. The applicant must fabricate different nanostructured materials for different applications. Then, various techniques will be employed to characterize the synthesized nanostructures, including X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, and electrical characterization.

Applicants must hold at least a PhD in physics or materials science and engineering. The candidate must be skilled in physics and/or material/electrical engineering lab work and show a strong commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace.
