The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Strategic Management in the Department of Management, College of Business and Economics (CBE). The CBE has been accredited by AACSB International since 2000. Candidates are expected to have:  A strong commitment to teaching excellence and the use of effective and innovative pedagogical approaches that emphasize practical application at both undergraduate and graduate levels;  The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management, including capstone strategy courses, and to contribute, where appropriate, to MBA and other graduate programs;  A strong research capability and the ability to develop and sustain a productive research program leading to publications in high-quality, well-regarded peer-reviewed journals;  The ability or potential to pursue appropriate internal and external research funding opportunities; and  A willingness to contribute actively to the development of the Department of Management, the College of Business and Economics, and UAEU through teaching, research, student advising, service, and external engagement. Candidates with research and teaching interests in areas such as corporate and competitive strategy, strategic leadership, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, international strategy, sustainability and strategy, and strategy in emerging markets are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Strategic Management or a closely related field, preferably from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in Strategic Management, the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate Strategic Management courses, and evidence of the ability to conduct high-quality academic research. For appointment at the Assistant Professor level, candidates should demonstrate strong research potential, an active research pipeline, and the potential to publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals. For appointment at the Associate Professor level, candidates should have an established record of high-quality research and publications, along with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and academic service.

A strong publication record or research pipeline in Strategic Management; research interests that complement the Department's existing strengths and emerging priorities; experience teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels; and relevant industry, consulting, executive education, or professional engagement.

Appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, commensurate with the candidate's academic qualifications, research record, teaching experience, and scholarly accomplishments. Successful candidates are expected to maintain an active research program, publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, provide effective teaching and student advising, and contribute to service activities at the Department, College, University, professional, and community levels. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of both the theory and practice of Strategic Management, along with an interest in producing rigorous and relevant research.
