The Department of Languages and Literature at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a Teaching Assistants position. Successful candidates will be supported in pursuing their graduate studies (Master and Doctor of Philosophy degrees) at internationally recognized universities abroad. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing an academic career and a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service. Applicants are required to submit a detailed curriculum vitae including: • A brief statement outlining their vision for teaching at UAEU. • A summary of their research interests and future academic goals.

Applicants must: • Hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic Language from a recognized and reputable university. • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0 (or equivalent) • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and adequate English proficiency with a minimum score of 500 in TOEFL.

Preference will be given to candidates holding a master’s degree from a recognized and reputable university, particularly in one of the following specialization areas: • Arabic Linguistics (تخصص اللغويات العربية) • Modern Literature (تخصص الأدب الحديث) • Comparative Literature (تخصص الأدب المقارن)
